The main attraction has been the detailed colour charting of harbours and supporting pilotage notes. The Handbook was relaunched as a comprehensive two-year almanac in September 2002. Following the oustanding success of the first edition this second edition whilst being the same basic format has been improved following comments from users of the first edition.The coverage from Norway to Gibraltar will be unchanged but more plans have been introduced tide tables for 47 standard ports are being published.
