Your weather data comes to life right onto your desktop with beautifully rendered gauges and instruments that show weather conditions changing as it happens. Needles move and mercury rises and falls, all in real-time!
Weather Where You Are
Your weather is always with you when you carry WeatherSnoop iOS, a handy mobile app that connects to WeatherSnoop. You can view your station's current weather along with a detailed weather report, and color radar.
WeatherSnoop is available in two packages:
WeatherSnoop and WeatherSnoop Lite.
WeatherSnoop interfaces with a host of popular weather stations from manufacturers such as Ambient Weather, Davis, Oregon Scientific, Peet Bros., RainWise, Columbia Weather Systems, and more.
Network Friendly Too!
Don't have a weather station? WeatherSnoop can also utilize network-based data sources on your local area network or over the Internet, including Weather Underground or another Mac running WeatherSnoop.
WeatherSnoop supports a number of connectivity options to weather stations, including USB, RS-232 and ethernet. There's even support for serial to ethernet adapters for serial-based stations.
Real Time on your Desktop
WeatherSnoop lets you view your weather in beautifully rendered high-resolution gauges that move in real time as your weather data changes. See the thermometer mercury rise and fall, and dials spin as wind speed and direction change.
Weather in Hi-Definition
With the Hi-Def Window, you can connect a HDTV to your Mac and fill the screen with a stunning view of all of your weather in 1920 x 1080 resolution. It's a great feature for sharing your weather in a store-front or other high-traffic area.
Analyzing your data is easy with rich, full color graphs that can plot multiple weather properties. Simply drag and drop weather properties onto existing graphs, or right-click on a gauge or property to display values in a new graph window.
Each visual window can have its own custom background for a personalized look and feel. You can select your own hi-res background photo or choose from a number of high quality images built right into WeatherSnoop.
WeatherSnoop tracks temperatures, wind information and other weather data as individual weather properties. For each property, you can change its unit, set the calibration value, and create a graph or view its historical data.
Full data exporting capability is available from within the Data Custodian. It's easy to export your weather data into comma-separated values (CSV) files that can be readily consumed by popular spreadsheet applications like Numbers or Excel.
Your Data's Custodian
WeatherSnoop's Data Custodian allows you to view and edit historical data for each weather property that you choose. Just select a date range, drag and drop your properties into the window, then browse the values in the table. It's that easy!
Archived Data Support
Many stations continue to log weather data even while your Mac is off or asleep. WeatherSnoop can pull this archived data from most of the weather stations that it supports, so you won't miss any of your console's captured weather information.
WeatherSnoop shares your weather data with Weather Underground, the premeire weather data service for personal weather stations.
