This is the same instrument as the model PAB-103, with the same accuracy specifications and certifications provided, but mounted in a shock resistant travel case made of beech hardwood. It can be read in the vertical or horizontal position. Ideal for field work at sea, on land, or underground. The adjustment screw can be reached from a special port on the bottom of the box with out removing the instrument from the case.

A popular traveling standard used for setting ship's barometers.
