Davis Instruments 6163-WIFI WiFi Plus VantagePro2 Fan Aspirated Wireless Weather Station

Internet Protocol or IP Network Weather Stations update weather servers real-time, providing up to the second data without the use of a PC. There are no networking fees. Perfect for low consumption requirements, remote monitoring applications, or weather station owners that do not want to leave their PC on 24/7.

Combining high performance broadband networking, full feature application support including Web server, and a variety of weather sensors, WiFi is the perfect solution for weather data gathering at home, school or office. Just attach the HauteSpot controller to your broadband router via Ethernet or 802.11a/b/g WiFi, and connect your weather station console, and you are ready to publish the weather conditions from your location to the Internet.

Streams live weather data real time (approximately 3 second updates) to the WeatherUnderground.com Website. Also supports the WeatherBug, Weatherforyou.com and Citizen Weather Observer Program (CWOP) Websites.

Davis Instruments 6163 VantagePro2 Plus Fan Aspirated Wireless Weather Station

The Davis VantagePro2 uses frequency hopping spread spectrum radio to transmit and receive data up to 1000' (300 m) line of sight. The fan aspirated radiation shield provides the ultimate in accuracy by circulating fresh air into the temperature and humidity shield. Recommended for hot weather climates where there is little breeze.

The VantagePro2 console and wireless receiver provides forecasting, on-screen graphing, and much more. Quick view icons show the forecast at a glance—sunny, partly sunny, cloudy, rain or snow—while a moving ticker-tape display gives more details.

ISS is solar powered. The integrated sensor suite combines a rain collector, temperature and humidity sensors, and anemometer into one package—making setup easier than ever and improving performance and reliability.

Temperature and humidity sensors are enclosed in solar-powered fan-aspirated radiation shield. Shield combines fan aspiration and passive shielding to minimize the effects of solar radiation.

The integrated sensor suite combines all the outdoor sensors into one package—making setup easier than ever and improving performance and reliability. Rain collector, anemometer, and temperature, humidity, solar radiation, and UV sensors are all included.

Davis Instruments 6510SER Data Logger and Software

For the ultimate in weather monitoring, add WeatherLink to your Vantage Pro. The WeatherLink data logger fits neatly into the Vantage Pro console, storing your weather data even when the computer is off. Transfer data to your PC whenever you like, then use the WeatherLink software to create graphs, generate summaries, and more.

Attention Davis Instruments VantagePro2 users: Please note that the HauteSpot interfaces to the WeatherLink hardware and does not communicate directly to the Davis Instruments WeatherLink software, and is designed as a standalone, internet appliance only.

HauteSpot HR-IXP-WIND WiFi Internet Weather Station Appliance

The HauteSpot Internet Weather Station Appliance is a complete, turnkey solution for weather monitoring. Combining high performance broadband networking, full feature application support including Web server, and a variety of weather sensors, this is the perfect solution for weather data gathering at home, school or office. Just attach the HauteSpot controller to your broadband router via Ethernet or 802.11a/b/g WiFi, and connect your choice of Davis Instruments 6510SER data logger, and you are ready to publish the weather conditions from your location to the Internet.

The HauteSpot Internet Weather Station monitors the attached sensors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No dedicated PC is required. The HauteSpot is fully self contained and can be managed from any PC through a simple to use browser interface.

Real time weather information from the HauteSpot can be pushed to Weather Underground, WeatherBug, WeatherForYou, or Citizen Weather Observer Program (CWOP), a PC based client application, or can be easily pulled into any web site for public or private access. The data can also be viewed privately through the integrated web server built into the HauteSpot Weather Station.

No longer must you dedicate a computer to your Internet weather monitoring system. This complete appliance solution eliminates the need for any external equipment. All that is required is an existing broadband Internet connection. Everything else is included.

The integrated 802.11 a/b/g client adapter allows the HauteSpot to connect to any standard access point. This allows the HauteSpot to connect wirelessly to your home broadband connection or to be used in any location where “WiFi” is available, including public access locations such as schools, coffee shops and bookstores, or it can also be connected directly to your router.

The HauteSpot Internet Weather Station is a small form factor solution, which allows for it to be placed in a variety of locations, freeing up your console to be placed anywhere you want. It is only 4 inches square and can be tucked away in your phone closet or where ever you keep your broadband router.

The system draws less than 10 Watts and can be powered by optionally available solar/battery systems, vehicle power or standard AC power.

For schools, clubs or businesses, this is the perfect solution for providing real time, web accessible weather reporting. Provided Weather Underground integration allows anyone, anywhere to see your weather conditions, without delay.

All of the features of the HauteSpot Internet Weather Station can be managed through a simple Web interface, accessible through any browser.
