Rapid Deployment Weather Monitoring System When wind direction and speed measurements are critical, the Pegasus-EX Weather Station offers a complete weather monitoring solution for portable operations. For HazMat, pollution control, research, and other environmental monitoring requirements, the Pegasus-EX's enhanced wind sensor offers two-degree wind direction resolution and up to 160 mph wind speed range.

Standard sensors include wind speed and direction, temperature, barometric pressure and humidity. (Solar radiation and rainfall sensors optional.) Use WeatherMaster 2000 software to calculate dew point, heat index, wind chill, density altitude and automatically integrate weather data into Cameo/Aloha HazMat software.

System Details:
Tripod Sensor Mast:
Made of powder coated heavy-gauge steel for added protection against the elements. The mast has three removable legs with locking pins. Telescoping extension elevates to 10 feet overall maximum height. Includes: Guy-wire ring collar, guy-wires, grounding stakes, compass for north orientation, and heavy duty canvas transportation bag.
Weatherproof Enclosure:
Houses the Control Module, internal barometer, and 2.4 GHz wireless transceivers. All sensor cables and power cords have external weatherproof quick connectors for rapid set up and take down under austere conditions. Sensor mast mounting hardware included.
Transportation Case:
Rugged polyethylene carrying case with roller wheels. Foam padded interior protects sensitive equipment. Keeps all components in a constant state of readiness.
2.4 GHz Wireless Transceivers:
Gives the system remote capability within two (2) mile line-of-sight range. FCC approved and license free.
Battery Power System with Charger:
Two 12 volt sealed lead acid (SLA) gel batteries provide 32 hours of operating time each. Quick-charging battery system keeps a fresh battery in supply. Batteries come with a plastic carrying case to protect against weather elements and contaminants.
Weather Display Console:
LCD touch-screen displays five windows of weather data and two configuration screens - all measured and calculated weather parameters, wind rose, daily max/min data and 24-hour trend graphs. (19" rack mount available)
WeatherMaster 2000:
Professional-grade software specifically designed to operate with Pegasus and integrate weather data into other software packages, such as Cameo/Aloha. Capable of networking multiple weather stations with one centralized computer. Multiple alarm features alert user to critical weather parameters.
