Our Vehicle-Mount Weather Stations provide weather monitoring for mobile operations involving emergency apparatus. Internal system components are permanently mounted in the vehicle.

The 9-ft telescoping mast is detachable for transportation storage, then quickly clicks into place for rapid deployment. The entire system is operational within minutes to provide critical weather information where and when it is needed.

The Capricorn 2000EX Vehicle-Mount Weather Station provides weather monitoring for mobile Command Post operations. Internal system components are permanently mounted in the vehicle. The sensor mast and affixed sensors are detachable for transportation storage, then simply click into place once on-scene - ready for immediate operations. The entire system is operational within minutes to provide critical weather information where and when it is needed.

The 9-ft telescoping sensor mast is made of rugged anodized aluminum, with heavy-duty powder-coated steel mounting brackets which are permanently installed on the vehicle.

The modular design of the Capricorn 2000EX weather stations provides professional grade data capture, storage, and transfer. Designed around the Control Module, this flexible system can easily accept signal inputs from wide variety of meteorological sensors.

The Capricorn 2000EX features a new durable aluminum/stainless steel wind direction and speed sensor. This sensor offers superior wind direction resolution and accuracy.

It's Control Module is housed in a compact, utility-grade enclosure which includes a data logger storing up to 511 records at user-defined intervals. Dual on-board RS-232 interface ports allow simultaneous connection to a display console, modem, or directly to a computer.

Three viewing options are available for the Capricorn 2000EX: The Capricorn 2000 Weather Display offering LCD flat touch screen interface, Weather View 32 software and WeatherMaster 2000 software.
