Calibration Adjustments

Virtual Weather Station allows you to calibrate for improved accuracy. In addition, if your wind speed sensor is below the expected reading due to bearing life, or the anemometer is obstructed by trees, these errors can be adjusted to provide realistic values. The calibration takes the form of the following equation:

Calibrated Value = Gain x Measured Value + Offset
