Water proof and corrosion proof:
This clock is waterproof with double seals on the front and back of the unit and can be submersed in 300mm of water for 3 months and includes a 5 year warranty against corrosion.
The manufacturing process includes double plating: Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) Zirconium plating over Chromium plating. Zirconium is a metal which has a high hardness and melting point. It is corrosion resistant, and will never tarnish, discolor or scratch.
The surface of Zirconium Coating has the color of brass, with a mirror, hand polished finish. The aluminous dial is suitable for various weather harsh conditions.
High quality stainless steel mounting screws with PVD Zirconium plating are included. All fasteners are made of stainless steel, suitable for salt water environments.
